St. Stephen's Basilica is located in the pest side, 300 m from the metro station Deak Ter. The basilica was completed in early 900, after 50 years of construction, with a predominantly neo-classical style. The name comes from "Saint Stephen I" which is the first Hungarian king. The basilica has a capacity of 9000 people and is the third tallest building in Hungary and a popular tourist destination. You can reach the dome by elevator or walk the 364 steps. Heroes Square is one of the most important squares of Budapest, located at the end of Andrássy Avenue and is accessible by metro 1 (yellow line) stop Hosok Ter.
